Summer Vacation 2006 Day 3
On Day 3 we did 3 big things. We went to the
Oregon Coast Aquarium, the
Sea Lion Caves, and the
Heceta Head Lighthouse.
The aquarium was some what interesting, but not as interesting as I had hoped it would be. There were lots of cool things to see, but I wished for more. The Sea Lion Caves were very very cool, but LadyDragonfly didn't get to take very many pictures of me there because it was very windy and she was afraid I would fly off the cliff, and inside the cave it was somewhat dark and dank and we couldn't use a flash, and my pictures just came out as dark blobs. I do recommend seeing it though, and hopefully, I'll take better pictures when I go again. The Heceta Head Lighthouse is apparently the world's most photographed lighthouse and I believe it. It is incredibly beautiful. I got one picture of me on the railing of the stairs going up to the top, but not much else, our tour was very crowded and there isn't much room up there. LadyDragonfly and Rick took a bunch of photos that she's going to post on her page. Our plans for day 4 include going to Tillamook and seeing the Air Museum and the Cheese Factory. Hopefully, we have a good time.
More soon!
Summer Vacation 2006 Day 2
Day 2 of my summer vacation was a travel day. We drove the 140 miles to the
Condo we were renting. We got kind of a late start and then stopped for groceries in Lincoln City. We didn't do much except make some pizza.
LadyDragonfly and most of the rest of her family checked out the hot tub. Lobo and I decided we'd just stay away from the water.
I took this great picture of Lobo while LadyDragonfly was driving.
Summer Vacation 2006 Day 1
LadyDragonfly's family came in late on Saturday (7/8) so we didn't do anything that day. The next day, we decided to go to
Mount St. Helens and then to go out to dinner to the
Old Spaghetti Factory. I had a nice time seeing all the sights at the various observatories and LadyDragonfly took lots of pictures.
Home Safe and Sound
I made it home safe and sound. I promise to take some pictures of my new room and my new clothes later. Right now, I have to get ready for my human's parents to visit and to pack for my trip to see the ocean!
More soon, I promise!
First Post
This is the diary of my life and times. I'll be posting lots of fun photos of the places me and my humans go. I'll be posting something more fun as soon as I get back from my trip home.
In the mean time, here's a cute photo that my dearest friend
Gage shot of me while I was visiting him.
